Another week in the can, another challenging workout smashed. Week 4 of my programme and a great example of why I need to work on upper body strength. Upper body strength has never been my thing. When it comes to exercises like chest flyes and Arnold press, I feel as weak as a kitten.
It is hard to believe that we are already part way through March. The first few weeks of the year I worked to just get back into the swing of things before getting on the muscle build and fat burning train.
The intensity of my workouts is increasing as this programme progresses, it has been a real surprise how much strength and capacity I lost in the second half of 2017. I like that my strength is increasing and I'm still making steady progress with fat lots.
Finally, time to start an all-new training programme this week. Always amazing to get some new challenges and suffer the new sore parts. This programme is all about building muscle while cutting down on that pesky body fat.
