Workout Wednesday - Gym hair really do care

Seriously where is the year going?  It is the end of March.  I've got a major mane going on at the moment so a hat is required to keep the gym hair under control.

I have been a little bit naughty this week, as it was Jaime's birthday I made a birthday cake, it was sugar and grain free, but we ate it all. We also had the Auckland Coffee Festival which is my kind version of heaven. It was a great day out full of coffee goodness. 

This is week 3 of an 8-week programme working on building my upper body strength, leaning out my leg a little more and working on my core. 

This program is a superset style program with some HIIT sessions in the mix as they are another great way to build muscle and burn fat.
Supersets are when you do two exercises back to back with little to no rest in between, they perfect when you want to make the most of your time in the gym.  
My focus is on arms, chest and back with some legs to round thing out.  The high-intensity ab work at the end of the workout just finishes things off nicely.
