Guacamole Bacon Canapes - Primal, Paleo, Kid Friendly and Clean Eating
Canapes are not something that would appeal in our house, mainly because bite size food would not last more than 5 seconds and the traditional canapes usually involve some bread. These canapes are meat based, always a winner with us, and have guacamole, another bonus. These canapes make a great addition to any special occasion or an ideal snack when you are watching some UFC with friends. They are simple to make, salty, spicy, and creamy.
450g streaky bacon
Preheat oven to 190 degrees C /375 degrees F.
Cut bacon into thirds and arrange them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
Bake the bacon for 10 to 15 minutes until the bacon is very crispy.
Remove the bacon and place on paper towels to blot grease.
Take a third of the bacon strips and chop them to make bacon crumbles
Take a piece of bacon, add a spoonful of guacamole, and sprinkle with some bacon crumbles. Repeat until you are out of bacon.
