Cleaning Up - Week one

So, in an effort to clean up and get back on track for the New Year I committed to 30 days clean, this included

  • Not eat any processed foods
  • Not eat any grains
  • Not eat any sugar
  • Limit my fruit intake - 2 portions a day
  • Limit my dairy intake - no more than 300ml milk per day
  • Drink a minimum of 2 litres of water a day
  • Reduce my coffee intake 4 cups max
  • Exercise at least once a day for 20 minutes
  • Sleep for at least 7 hours each night

Week 1 is over and I can honestly say it has gone well; I’ve managed to keep to all of the food targets and have done at least one workout a day. The only thing I’ve had epic fail on is sleep, I don’t really know why I’m not sleeping well (aside from the heat). 

For anyone interested here is the food plan that I have followed for the last week and the shopping list (enough to feed 2)



January 1

Breakfast - Coffee Protein Shake
