Buttered Greens

Primal, Paleo, Kid Friendly and Clean Eating

We all know that green vegetables are great for us but sometimes they can be a bit boring at times, this is a simple way to add a heap of flavour to your greens and make them extra tasty.

Ingredients

200g spinach

100g kale

100g Brussels sprouts

100g green beans

20g butter

1 garlic clove

 

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C/ 350 degrees F.

Line a baking tray with aluminium foil and make sure there is plenty over the edges so you can make a tent with the foil.

Roughly chop the spinach, kale, sprouts and beans and place them on the foil lined tray.

Mince the garlic and mix it into the butter, put the butter over the top of the vegetables.

Fold the foil over to great a tent

Bake for 15-20 minutes until the spinach is wilted and the sprouts are starting to brown.

Serve warm with the melted butter over the top.
