Apple slaw - Primal, Paleo, Kid Friendly and Clean Eating
This is a variation on the classic slaw recipe that I stole from my mother in law. I wanted something to compliment my tasty pulled pork and this was what I landed at pulled pork and this was what I landed at.
Like the normal slaw, it is quick and easy but packs a lot more punch in the flavour stakes.
½ head cabbage, finely sliced
2 carrots, finely grated
2 apples, finely grated
1tbsp. lemon juice
Mix vegetables together in a bowl and add in the honey gar and lemon juice, mix and serve.
This makes enough slaw to go with a 2kg pork shoulder and will easily fill 6 grown hungry men.
