Seed crackers - Primal, Paleo, Kid Friendly and Clean Eating

Crackers and cheese oh how I missed thee.  I love cheese and a nice cheese board is pointless without crackers, but the crackers are full of rubbish, seriously look at the packet next time you go to the supermarket.  I hunted around for crackers that were family friendly (no nuts) and guilt free; I could not find anything that fitted the bill, so I tried and tested my own.
These crackers are clean, plain, and simple to make, I treat this recipe as a starting point and add in whatever flavours I want or need.

Ingredients

100g sunflower seeds

30g pumpkin seeds

25g sesame seeds

75g chia seeds

250ml water

Instructions

In a bowl mix chia seeds, water, and let them sit for 10 minutes, the chia seeds will soak up the water and become sticky.

Add the remaining seeds to the chia seed mix and make sure it is well combined. (add seasoning if required)

Preheat oven to 170 degrees C/ 330 degrees F

Line a baking tray and spread the seed mix over the tray.  The mix should be thin but without holes.

Bake for 1 hour at 170 degrees C/ 330 degrees F

Seasoning for the crackers
Salt, garlic and rosemary
Paprika, salt and chili flakes
Caraway seeds, ground coriander
Thyme, garlic and lemon zest

Try this with
