About me

Hi there. 
My name is Cath and I'm a foodaholic. This is Jay, he is also a foodaholic and the primary reason I've become one.

I have always enjoyed cooking and have fond memories of being in the kitchen when I was little, I would pick vegetables and fruit over sweets any day of the week.  When I was in my teens, I got sick and I lost my love of food. 

After a long and unhealthy relationship with food I began a much more healthy and interesting relationship with food thanks to my partner in crime. 

His love of food was contagious, I started to get excited about food, before I knew it I was back in the kitchen and enjoying 3 meals a day.

We are now 5 years down the line and my passion for real food keeps on growing. We started a journey together that has led to a new way of living and eating.

We have made real food part of our lives everyday, I love taking simple ingredients and turning them into healthy and tasty mealsfor the family to eat.

Food is a big part of our lives but not the only part, being active is another huge part of our lifestyle, we make movement part of our lives everyday.

  • Don't eat processed foods
  • Stop eating before you are full
  • Move every day - no matter what it is make sure you exercise in some way
